How often should high-touch surfaces be disinfected?
Frequency depends on how many people use the space and who they are. Washrooms and high-traffic touchpoints in offices, schools and public buildings are often disinfected daily, while clinics and care settings may need several passes a day in shared areas.
Many facilities add extra disinfection during cold and flu season, after an illness is reported, or before events and inspections. A day porter can wipe touchpoints during business hours, while the evening crew completes a full disinfection round. Programs can scale up or down with the season.

What is the difference between cleaning, sanitizing and disinfecting?
Cleaning removes dirt and some germs from surfaces. Sanitizing lowers the number of germs to a safer level, often on food-contact surfaces. Disinfecting uses products designed to kill germs on hard surfaces when used according to the label.
Do you use electrostatic sprayers?
Yes, where appropriate. Electrostatic spraying suits larger rooms and complex surfaces. It does not replace cleaning, so soiled surfaces are cleaned first. Only products suitable for the sprayer are used.
Is disinfection safe for staff and students?
Yes, when products are chosen and applied correctly. We follow label directions and safety data sheets, allow proper drying or ventilation time, and schedule spraying when rooms are empty. Rooms reopen once surfaces are dry.
Do you disinfect medical clinics?
Yes. We clean clinics, and our healthcare facility cleaning team follows each site’s infection control procedures, including in hospitals and long-term care settings. Clinic visits are scheduled outside patient hours where possible.
